We went on a ooooooober long drive in two minibuses, driven by two workers for Hope, to a resort in the middle of nowhere but close to the safari park. On Saturday we opened the sunroofs and all sat on top of the minibuses so we could see the animals clearly.. it was so much fun riding with the wind and we arrived at local village (within the wild animal infested land!!) where there were dusty faced kids running about in rags and fisher men in long wooden canoes on the most beautiful lake I have ever seen! We then jumped on a tour boat and saw soo many kool animals! 
The Elephants were the best.. they were well possessive of their land/water and got their rage on when we went past them but it was so awesome to see.. they are so powerful.. I have lots of photos to show you when I get back!After the safari we had a swim in this gorgeous hotel which over looked the huge lake and oh my gosh it was absolutely stunning.. breath-taking! I could of stayed there forever.. a perfect honeymoon spot! I sat there in awe of Gods creation..the stillness of the lake surrounded by green flat topped trees, in which mighty animals live, whilst the sun set in the horizon over the lake... perfect!
We then got back in to the minibus and drove to the equator and found out that unfortunately all our weight made a dent in the roof so the sunroof could no longer open! However this later saved our lives.....
On return home in the minibus, a bike holding two boys drove straight towards our minibus.. Josh our driver swerved to avoid the bike and slammed on the brake... to avoid crashing into more oncoming traffic or houses he continued to brake and steered the minibus into a drainage ditch on the side of the road. As we crashed into the ditch the minibus toppled over on to its side and we all fell onto each other... most of the team fell onto me as I was on the side which toppled over to the ground. My first reaction was to pray so hard and catch heads as everyone was being flung about. Realising everyone was ok, THANKFULLY! we then realised the bus side-door was now our floor and we couldnt get out! There was a big panic especially as all the locals gathered in a huge crowd around us and started to push the bus back up whilst we were still in it!!! With a lot of shouting to tell them to stop pushing the bus, Joel managed to open the back door so we quickly pushed our way out, unsure whether the bus was on fire!
Thankfully everyone was ok with only scrapes and bruises to show for such a big crash. We actually have a lot to be thankful for... ie that we were not sitting on the top of the roof.. that the sunroof was broken so we couldn't open it or we would have fallen out.. that we didnt crash into any oncoming cars, houses or other people, that we were awake.. as 10mins previously we were all snoozing which would have been an even bigger shock to crash and our reactions would have been delayed.. we are also thankful that everyone is ok and that all our things stayed in one piece and nothing got stolen when the crowd surrounded us.... so yeah... all in all a 'good crash'! I think God was definately on our side.. if everyone could continue praying for safe travel though please that would be great.. oh and please dont panic after reading this! We are fine and accidents happen!!
Today we are all just recooping.. back to work tomorrow in the Good Will school, which is the extra extra run down school I previously wrote about.. if you want to send anything out please contact my mum.. it would be the biggest help ever!
