Happy Christmaassss!
I have something amaaaazing to announce...
******ALL the boys who needed sponsors to be able to go to school NOW HAVE A SPONSOR! Yaaaaaay! From January (when their new school year begins) ALL the boys in the Mydel Home will be in school! ********
I am soo happy and so are they! Over the moon in fact! 2yrs ago these boys were orphans living on the street, fighting for their life every single day. Now they are in a safe and loving home, being fed and educated. Fantastic! Thank you so so much to everyone who has supported the project. You have given hope and a life to so many young men.
In addition, thanks to a very lovely supporter, Emmanuel has now had his broken arm seen to at the hospital so he is on the mend :)
Plus, thanks to an extremely kind donation, the problem of the food prices tripling causing lack of food has been seen to as the home has been given enough money to feed the boys for what they need in January.
AND thanks to Brislington Fellowship, the boys now also have hardback bibles to greet them on Christmas day. They also have the presents I wrapped and brought out on my last trip.. they have actually kept them for Christmas day (!).. I know, I'm impressed too!
This year has been a very successful one for the Mydel Boys Home. It's been the best Christmas gift ever to know all the boys (24 in fact!) are safe, fed, schooled and happy.
Aaaaaand thanks to another amazingly kind supporter, there is enough money to pay for the boys to go on the wood carving and computer courses that they wanted, to help them grow in valuable skills which can help their future.
